surreal dialogue between Nietzsche and Jung on the Einstein time
From the book "The Guardians of Time" Chapter 41 p.. 300-309
[....] Isobel Morrison looked around. There was none. Then, suddenly broke away from the forest shadow began to walk toward them: he was a lanky man dall'andatura, the stocky. As he approached the moon illuminated his face: two huge mustache framed a chubby face and two bushy surrounding sopraccilglia myopic eyes and deep. It seemed .... He was not sure but from the photos he had seen in books she seemed to recognize Nietzsche.
"It is not possible," she whispered to herself Isobel. Yet the resemblance was amazing. When he was close to her and Anrham man bowed low, took the hand of Isobel and courteous ways but cuts kissed it gently.
"Professor Friedrich Nietzsche is pleased to make your acquaintance, Miss Morrison" So
was not wrong. Isobel rubbed his eyes. The great philosopher was innazi her.
Suddenly he turned Nietzsche to his right and said "Here comes Professor Jung, late as usual .."
the side of the clearing where Nietzsche had looked back at advancing a person, white hair, mustache minutes and ordered. Came in the thick foliage of the tree nodded to Nietzsche and, shaking hands with Isobel, he said bowing his head slightly, "Pleased to make your acquaintance Miss Morrison. My name is Carl Gustav Jung. "
Anrham Isobel looked stunned. Anrham replied with a broad smile and serene.
"Here comes Albert" Jung said, "Today too late eh, like last night's rest."
"In my frame of reference my time is absolutely timely, "said the man followed by the phrase came from a cheerful laughter while under the canopy of the tree. Isobel immediately recognized the weird hair and sharp eyes of Albert Einstein. He approached her after having greeted with a pat on the shoulder Jung and Nietzsche and shook his hand vigorously.
"Pleased to meet you Miss Morrison. We do all rooting for her. "
Isobel was incredulous before her were the greatest scientist of the twentieth century, the greatest psychologist and one of the greatest thinkers in history.
"It 'impossible' just whispered.
"Impossible?" Nietzsche said that was the closest to her and receiving heard "Yeah, me too if I were you I would think the same thing as you and I'm thinking now, but as I have somewhat reluctant to call me impossible."
"Do not start Friedrich" interrupted Jung 's' Miss Morrison is living experience that is respected both in timing and manner of perception. E 'confused enough already ... "and with a broad smile and stroked her face.
"That's because he still believed to be trapped in the space time. But if his mind will dissolve the bonds will be printed to an eternal smile on his face. "Einstein pointed out.
"It is not easy," said Nietzsche, "there is a risk horses to finish in order to embrace, not that it is a detestable thing if in fact, the identification with others, with the other can experience the most divine man, but it is dangerous groped by themselves, not with the world you call to order, to his order. Give me a straight plays Miss Morrison who has lived on her skin laceration between feeling and seeing all single: listen to what these three clowns feel like listening to a song by memorizing the notes so that the resulting family members, but without adding to ... or any thought they would collapse with it. "
looked Nietzsche and Jung gave a nod with his head.
"So, where were we? "asked Einstein.
"light," said Jung.
"Yeah, right, I tend to forget it. It does not please anyone remember their mistakes "
" There are mistakes Albert "interrupted Jung" approximations are necessary when one takes into account only some aspects of reality but not reality in its full complexity. "
" Okay, well, "continued Einstein" So we were talking of eternal light, compared to eternity itself and Friedrich noted that ... "
" ... I noted that if the light is eternal in itself or that to be eternal it must move with speed to his're falling into a self-concept. The eternal light is the speed itself is a self-assertion, because it shows a tautology in itself: it is similar to the famous story of the barber: You know the lady? "
Isobel nodded her head.
"It 's easy to understand: a village has among its inhabitants a barber and a single, well-shaven man. Her shop is on the teaching of writing "the barber shaves all - and only - those who do not shave themselves." The question now is: who shaves the barber? The answer that we are naturally led to give is "the barber shave himself." But in this way we violate a premise: the barber rasandosi raderebbe not only those who do not shave themselves. So it is natural to think that the barber will be shaved by someone else, but once you violate a premise: that the barber shaves all those who do not shave themselves (to put it in other words, if the barber does not shave himself should shave if you do not shave himself should shave). Yet the barber shaved is well ... "Nietzsche
Isobel looked quizzically.
"The same occurs when we say that light is eternal in a reference system created by itself. E 'eternal only what travels at the speed of light. But for those who are forever? For those who observe and judge by an external reference system than that of light. The light does not perceive its eternity. Who does not know it is eternal and continues to receive a proper time .. "
" Maybe we're looking at the problem from the wrong point of view, "said Jung. "Ultimately, we are made of light, I see you Miss Morrison, Albert and I can confirm, because my retina interprets the beams of light coming from her and are impressed with it. So from a certain point of view we are light. "
" ... but we do not travel at the speed of light. So we can not be eternal, at least from the purely physical. "Albert said.
"Why?" Jung
asked "Why is it impossible, at least for now, to travel to three hundred thousand kilometers per second!" Einstein said impatiently.
"But we just said that even if we were aware we could be eternal does not it will continue to receive a flow of time even if an outside observer, our clock would be stopped." Jung said.
Einstein shrugged impatiently
"Hear me a moment longer," Jung continued, "we take a photon, the elementary particle which is the light, the photon, being light, it travels by definition the" speed of light. " We do this thought experiment: imagine could see a photon, with a lot of effort, you can see his watch and then to record his time: if we succeed in doing so, for all that we said we should first observe the hands of his watch without . For us, that we observe that photon has zero time for us his time does not flow, as if he, the photon, watching the clock hands move normally would: he would his own time. E 'right? "Jung said, turning to Einstein.
"Correct." Said the physicist.
"Good. The question then is: what of the photon if it is timeless and therefore eternal? I should see it forever, right? So if photon that is emitted by the lighting of a bulb, where it ends when I turn off? That photon should remain forever ... "
" No, sooner or later encounter something, an object or another, from which it can be absorbed, reflected, transformed into heat .. "replied Einstein.
"Wait a minute: there can be no sooner or later if we speak of a photon at time zero. For him, time does not go, and then there can be no past or future ... "gloss Jung.
"But what say we go there are eternal!" Einstein said with some impatience.
"But because we see the dimming of the light el'accendersi? That light should be eternal, each photon should be emitted. Yet we see the light on and off. Following the reasoning, the only way that we perceive a time different from zero for the photon would be to move jointly with him to his speed, "continued Jung.
"Carl is right. 'Said Nietzsche," one of two things: either something is wrong in your theory, or to perceive the light turns off and then the disappearance of a photon should have zero time to it we must be solidarity, and then move to its speed: the only way we'd see the scroll and its time we perceive events as turning off the light and its interaction with another object. In other words, we must be eternal, too! "
" We have not heresy! I repeat we do not travel at the speed of light "seemed nervous ...
Einstein" Albert, what speed a thought, "asked Nietzsche.
"Do not start again with this history of thought. The thought is not a physical object, I can not give him a place in space and time in time .. "
" But I say this now I think, and my thoughts lead to action that can lead to a change in physical 'said Nietzsche, "and then thought can be physically relevant, as is the observer the observed phenomenon "
" Do not start with the quantum theory, you know I do not like to talk about it: Even though I now know that is not God play dice, but in our minds, thought to have spent the last years of life chase a mistake that there was sheer stubbornness and damned fills me with anger ... "
" It is not the time for regrets this, to tell the real point is not the time. "Jung said, smiling. "But continuing the reasoning of Friedrich and widening it, you know that thought is made up of electrical impulses between neurons. But electricity = light. So do not make any logical error saying that thoughts can travel at the speed of light.
"I would say no," he said thoughtfully
Einstein "So our thoughts are eternal!" cried Isobel focused on where she went to parry the speech.
"This is a correct deduction Miss Isobel" Nietzsche said, smiling. Reading his books Isobel had never imagined that such a man could smile. "But if the thoughts are eternal and there is no thought without a thinker it must be inferred that the thinker is eternal ..."
". ... Unless .... "Interrupted Jung" .... Not imagine that there is a place where they reside thoughts, feelings common to all thinking beings and that they draw upon us to develop a thought which in fact is already in our collective unconscious. "
" Wait a minute, do not run too "interrupted Einstein" The light is eternal in a vacuum, because only in it does not undergo refraction phenomena that slow down the speed. And I can hardly think of a blank brain thinking ... "
" Maybe that's why the great mystics speak to the empty mind, empty of thoughts, for lighting, to enter eternity, for the moment inner light that thought and make eternal moment. "gloss Nietzsche with a satisfied air.
"But you can clear your mind of neurons continued Einstein a bit 'angry.
'No.' said Jung "But as the empty space the light is eternal, so the lighting in the vacuum of the mind leads us to the Infinite. Emptied to make room for the Lord, the Infinite, to wait for that flash of light that tell us our fullness, our communion with the Lord. As in heaven so on earth, as it is inside out, as in so small in the large. This is the wisdom, the tradition of millennia that conforms to the science of this. "
" One moment, "interrupted Einstein" I find some contradictions. You can not appeal to the theory of relativity to claim el'inesistenza eternity of time. It can not do because it requires the space-time is a unique dimension and if time slows to a stop space must tend to zero to become non-existent, that space must not exist as we conceive it "
" I find it absolutely correct what you say, "Nietzsche said," We talk of time and not ever considering his twin brother, his shadow, his inseparable companion: space. I am not able to refute the space, I'm a mad philosopher of 1800, embrace horses are not able to rise to the science of the twentieth century, however ... but there is one thing that haunts me since childhood. "
" What? "Einstein asked curiously.
"I'm obsessed with this idea: he thinks the world's fastest man: Suppose that he runs the 100 meters in 9 seconds and 800 milliseconds. It can be assumed that between months, years, decades, he or another in his place could run the same distance in 9 seconds and 799 thousandths ... "
" I think this is possible, "Einstein admitted.
"And a day will come, who will race in 9 seconds and 798 thousandths' said Nietzsche.
"Possible ..." Einstein was a hint of where she went to parry the reasoning of Friedrich.
"Imagine this progression in years, decades, centuries: it considers it strange that a man can improve a millisecond of those who preceded him? "
" No, but there must be a limit or else ... "said Einstein mandatory.
"Otherwise, you should come to the absurd that there will be a man who will run the 100 meters in 0 seconds" gloss Nietzsche "But what is that limit? Is there really? If it was 9 seconds and 800 milliseconds, it considers highly unlikely that a man can not find in the future if that spark, that gust of wind, one drop of energy for that distance earning a millisecond? And if so can not be that an infinite number of times, each After overcoming the limits of physical and temporal un'iniezia previously made? "
" It is not possible, there must be a physical limit. "Einstein objected.
"This is because it is assumed that space exists and with it the time, but this argument (and I have to show where it is weak) always allows the possibility and probability (I would say the certainty) that any limit is actually done be exceeded, that there is always forever and that gust of wind, that spark of energy that do earn that split second on the previous time. What is actually a millisecond? Not even a blink of an eye. The distances and space are made to be filled, to be overcome. "
" But there must be a physical limit! My legs should have a limit beyond which it is impossible to have enough strength. It 's out of every logical to think that I can walk 100 meters in zero seconds "Einstein was impatient.
"... .. maybe just because the 100 meters in reality do not exist." Interjected Jung.
"please do not say nonsense!" Einstein was nervous.
"Calm Albert." Jung said, "We are continuing a discussion without taking into account a fundamental fact: the role in our perceptions of space and time have our mind. I believe that we can not underestimate this aspect: it is our mind tells us that the passage of time, which shows the distances, which speaks of space and time, but our mind encodes, interprets and concludes. And if our deductions and interpretations were incorrect and misleading as the vision of the setting sun, when in fact we know that we are going down to it? "
Suddenly a bolt of lightning across the sky followed by a roar that seemed to shake the branches of ' tree. Almost simultaneously, a heavy rain hits the clearing.
"Now we must go," said the three men in unison. Then, whispering to each other gave you an appointment at the next evening and, with a quick kiss to Isobel each headed by the party shortly before he had come and disappeared among the trees. [....]

Avcapture Mfc Application Has Stopped
The time of dreams and his master
After a long (?) Absence (due to pressing family commitments) back to add words to the ones already written.
Recently I read something that shocked me: During the sleep phase in which dreams occur lasts a few seconds. Dreaming of you happened to live days, with events, talks, travel, births, deaths, tragedies, farces ..... Well all those events (so "real" while dreaming to frighten, excite, make you laugh, cry) are dreamed and then processed in our brain in a few (very few) seconds. Days, months, years, lives dream match a few seconds of our slumber "real."
This would seem to show that there is a different place and time in which our consciousness assimilates experiences living in a time different from that usually marks our existence thus corroborating the view that our consciousness, our self to say it with Upanishads may have a time to separate, time-independent "objective" scandto watches in the world.
We pondered the other night watching my kids play ... I do not feel great, I do not feel old, I am not daddy .... I am still a child, I would like to play with cars too .... I see great, but I feel, I feel the last time that I him, but this only affects my body, my being outside, my appearance .... that baby is still inside the door, inside I still want to grandfather in the fields of carefree rides in the country .... Inside are no different from my children playing with toy cars ... I only have experience, memories and objects that speak to me of a time that was but my being is firmly still and unchanged ...... Now
interrupt these considerations are just an excuse to talk about something important. I would like to speak of dreams. Dream (Morpheus) is the protagonist of a comic strip called Sandman. It 'was written by Neil Gaiman and is among the most beautiful things I've ever ever read. It 's a fascinating journey into the myth, in fantasy, which masterfully weaves myths of the past, recent events in a plot that is never banal and captivates you from cover to surprise you, making you cry, laugh, think ....
I can tell you briefly the story, but the net is full of sites that are still there and spoil the great pleasure to go page by page in qesto fascinating journey and I certainly do. Could I speak of dreams, one of the Endless with his brothers and sisters Destiny, Despair, Destruction, Delirium, Desire and Death, their kingdoms, their functions, their duties. I could speak of Orpheus, of Shakespeare, the Eumenides and Calliope, Hell and Asgard, but is perhaps more should tell you about how to enter this special world .. I own all the comics in the edition of the Magic Press now trackable not only used at very reasonable prices. Recently Planeta De Agostini began to reprint the cartoon with monthly releases. They are to arrive at the fourth. I advise you to retrieve the past 4 issues and expect the following: it is really worth.
